1972 CT Ketch 41′
Asking 45,000 Sale Pending
This boat was purchased in 2011 and a complete restoration was conducted . She has most of the character of an original Formosa but a few changes in design have been made. In helping to lighten the boat we went with spectra / Dyneema rigging with colligo hardware.
The entire inside of the boat was removed when we bought the boat, so this gave us a blank canvas to work with, and as you can see we changed up a few of the original designs. Our goal was to incorporate as much storage as possible . All electrical is new and all of the equipment is new inside and out. Nothing came with the boat except a brand new Beta marine engine and generator. We built everything out of teak and sapele with cedar lining in drawers and cabinets.
The engine and generator area has been sound proofed with a fire proof sound mat. We also added fan blowers for the engine area and large DC computer fans mounted throughout the bilge from front to back. This air flow keeps the hull dry with no mold to worry about. Uses virtually no power less than 1 amp. I hope you look at the photos and videos. And follow the tabs above on this site to check out the progress of the boat.
